Estimating takes into account all the phases of the design process which includes the number of hours spend on client meetings, research, concept development and comp preparation, final artwork preparation for files and administrative work such as soliciting bids from suppliers and vendors. In addition, creative design fees also depend on the complexity of the assignment, client’s size, budget, number of pages, production needs, schedules, deadlines and rights transferred.
